Volanti Drones was founded in June 2016, by Robert Dillard, with a single mission: to be the most professional, creative, and helpful commercial UAS operations in Mississippi and the South. I approach each of client with fresh eyes to develop custom-made strategies. With over 20 years digital video and photography experience, 18 years piloting manned aircraft, and a lifelong entrepreneur, it was only natural that I setup a business flying unmanned aerial systems.
Volanti is Latin for "Flying." If you like flying, you will love Volanti Drones!

I hold a FAA sUAS Commercial Operator license issued in October 2016 and have been an IFR pilot since 1998. I am attended Hinds Community College UAS program to learn how to design, build, and repair custom made and consumer drones. This also provides the highest level of training in UAS operations, equipment, software, and systems for the UAS industry. UAS is the next big aviation step and I intend to put Volanti at the top of professional operations as it grows rapidly in the future.
